Last week, Autobutler won the prestigious award “Best Start-up” in the annual Danish competition EY Entrepreneur Of The Year.
The prize is a seal of approval and underlines the relevance of our concept; providing value to car owners and allowing them to easily obtain and compare quotes, as well as providing garages better access to new customers online. The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is run in more than 60 countries. It is the world's largest award of its kind – and competition is fierce. Autobutler was selected above 814 competitors and the judges gave this reason:
The brightest shining star amongst start-ups
“Autobutler is a unique digital business within a conservative industry. With its strong management it is spearheaded by entrepreneurs who have torn down the walls and created success in a competitive market. As an established global entity, Autobutler now stands at the cusp of its international breakthrough creating partnerships with some of the world’s largest online-companies in Sweden, Germany and the UK. There were plenty of relevant companies this year but the most outstanding example was Autobutler”.
Not the first award (and hopefully not the last)
We’re proud to say that last week’s award was not the first: Autobutler has received numerous awards, among others the “Best B2C Company”, “Best Start-Up Company” in 2012 and “the Best B2B Company”. The EY award is, so far, the most prestigious award.
“We expect to revolutionize the garage experience for car-owners everywhere. The garage industry has long- standing traditions - attracting customers very much the same way as it did 20 years ago. We have, however, proved that it is possible to attract customers via digital media. We see it as an honour to be called the best company 2014 in the start-up category” says Autobutler Co-founder and Partner Peter Zigler.
